How You Can Help, Sponsor A Reader

Raising A Reader encourages you to give at any level. Your donation will play a fundamental role in bringing the Raising A Reader program to more young children in need.

Your gift provides Raising A Reader books, materials and training. Materials include plasticized multilingual books; red book bags, blue “My Library Book Bags”, multilingual literacy resources for parents and teachers, and a classroom tracking system. Training includes Raising A Reader Orientation and Early Literacy Training for childcare providers, regular onsite Read Aloud demonstrations, and RAR Early Literacy Workshops for families.

• Sponsor A Reader for $60
  provide one book bag filled with four books
• Sponsor A Reader for $100
  support one child to foster a love of reading for a full school year.
• Sponsor 5 Readers for $500
  support 5 young children to foster a love of reading for a full school year.
• Sponsor A Playgroup for $1,000
  support a playgroup of 10 infants and toddlers to share books with their families for a year.
• Sponsor A Classroom for $2,500
  support a classroom of 20 preschool children to read together with their families for a year.
• Sponsor A School for $10,000
  support an entire school of children to read together with their families for a full year.
