Santa Clara County

Since 2003, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County has hosted Raising A Reader in the Franklin McKinley School District and in West San Jose including the Luther Burbank Community. In 2010, they anticipate serving 300 children at the FIRST 5 funded Family Resource Centers. For these families, Raising A Reader serves as an interactive family literacy program for children who have not had an opportunity to attend preschool.
